- A straight man confesses his lust for the feet of his best buddy, Clay. To satisfy his passion, he must overcome Clay's moral objections and make him an offer his comely feet cannot refuse.

The nephew escapes. "The Four" are double-crossed by Phiney Glenn, Jeff Armstrong and Adolph Gassner, who have acted as a "fence" and now desire respectability. "The Four," in prison, never once forget their desire for revenge, and when opportunity for escape comes Mordant goes to America and begins his campaign of revenge, which includes mental tortures for Glenn, now Glenister, and Armstrong, now Strong, and death for Gassner. His crowning stroke comes when he steals Dorothy, Glenister's daughter, and tells her of her father's feet of clay, laying bare the crime and treachery on which his respectability is founded. It is Mordant's supreme moment, but he experiences the futility of revenge when he learns that Dorothy is not Glenister's own daughter, but is the daughter of Charles Eaton, whom Glenister has adopted "to make things right." In the meantime detectives are closing in on Mordant and it is only through the quick wit of Marie Marat, who has accompanied him from Europe, that he finds safety and an opportunity for a better life.

- It is obvious that Jack is becoming bored with the stream of trauma patients coming into Emergency. So when he has the chance to show his skills at diagnosis, he becomes involved with a suspected meningitis case. It is only after the girl lapses into a coma and further tests taken that Jack realises he had made too hasty an assumption and the girl really had sepsis as the result of a root canal abscess. Although there was nothing further Jack could have done, he is humbled by the fact that he mislead the girl's fiancé and that his mistake could have had more reaching consequences. Lucas, a PSA at the hospital, is discovered having a Grand Mal seizure. Lucas jokingly uses the hoax caller's catch cry when he thanks Cate for helping him. It is only after Cate's memory is jolted that she remembers Lucas was in her training group in the ambo service. Scott, already driven to find the hoaxer, believes that Lucas is the guilty party. Lucas had an accident whilst training and because of a head injury he became epileptic and had to leave the Service. When Scott finds Lucas alone on the roof, within full view of the hoax call outs, he accuses him of being the hoaxer and threatens to report him but has he found the right guy? Elsewhere, Vincent has a new intern to take care of. Grace seems to have much more doctoring experience than she should. Vincent realises that Grace, who is from an outback town, has been doing a lot more of her father's (the only doctor in town) work than she has lead him to believe.
- A woman dies. Her husband is in prison, and the sheriff needs someone to look after the boy until the boy's uncle can come to claim him. The Cartwrights begin to take care of the boy at the Ponderosa. When the boy arrives at the ranch, he does not know that his father is in prison. The boy learns the truth about his dad, and news reaches the Ponderosa that the convict has escaped from prison. The Cartwrights deal with the possibility that the boy's father may be coming their way.
- Mason's wife thinks he's having an affair after his run in with the intruder. Burton has a plan to exploit Redair's bank balance in a venture buying platinum and someone has been tampering with the Britannia aircraft.

But are Tom's figures the correct ones. Elsewhere, Elliot and Martha clash over her new husband. A hungover Maddy angered Linden with her attitude but she still got her surgical rotation on Keller.
